So we have pictures. We have text. I suppose I can put a lot of text? i'm sort of confused as to how to actually use the blog-y-ness, but I like pictures.

Um, haven't been here in a while, but I apparently have 314 posts. I guess 315 with the picture one.

1147 has the least of my three blogs, which is pretty sad considering Vigilance is all but abandoned.

I think maybe I'll use blogger more with the picture thingy.

So... Things...

on the 17th...

So we went to Florida. And we saw my Grandmother and it was pain. Especially because the house had a particularly pungent odor. But I did get to see the quality film "Periscope Down." Awesome. Also, I told my brother about half of the plot of GOF. He loves shuffleboard now.... 0.o

I am happy with the new show. I think it's good. I like the power. The soul. Is it hard? quite so. Dakara...

Everybody at this school has either the ability or the ability to learn how to play and march this show. EVERYBODY. This also goes for any classes and the so-on. Is it hard? I think I already answered that. But settling for a lesser *cough*lame*cough* show isn't the road we should take. People complain a lot. Too much. If we played the other show, people would complain it's lame. If we do this show, people might complain it's hard. What do we do about this?

I think its going to come down to the leadership. We have a STRONG senior class, but none of us care about anything (*points to 1147 blog as an example*) We CAN do it. You have to know it, cause its true, but you also have to BELIEVE it, or it won't happen. I admit we are not living in a copy of The Little Engine that Could, but there's something to be said for a strong will. No, this has nothing to do with Rayearth. We need to motivate the ickle ones to work hard, and we need to believe they can suceed. But more than that, we need to motivate OURSELVES. My dad (when he wears them) shines his boots every two or three nights. Is it cause they would die from a small lack of shine? No, it's because he is setting the EXAMPLE for all his junior officers and NCOs to follow. The past three years we've sat by and watched others lead us and this band and take it (or not take it) where it needs to go. This is it, 2005. This is our chance to take something we love, and make it better. We need to take charge and mold this band into what we want it to be: a kick-@$$ ensemble. We're not going to get another shot at this. The mark of a great leader is one that can bring people together and make something greater than the sum of its parts. We don't need a miracle. We just need to be strong.

Poor Julian... He only had good scenes on this disk, though. Like the one where Sisko get in a fight with Kassidy and he and Jadzia give Ben advice. :P Or the one where...

Jadzia: Would you like to have dinner? I mean, with some friends. Because I thought you'd like to come. A small group. Just me and... Julian.
Old flame chick: Um, okay.

Julian: Tonight? I have plans tonight.
Jadzia: Cancel them. I mean, it would be nice if you could cancel them.
Julian: Nice?
Jadzia: I invited old flame chick to dinner...
Julian: And you need a chaperone?
Jadzia: Will you do it?
Julian: I think I should say no, but you know I won't.
Jadzia: Thank you! I owe you!
Julian: *sigh*

OMG. But so yeah. And Little Green Men. Not as good as I had hoped, but okay.

OMG. You know, that had two Star Trek references and a mention of Spock. ...Dr. Spock. But still. I <3 that crossword puzzle. (BTW, the answer is 'bones')

POA soundtrack, SO GOOD. I buy now. Or maybe soon. Mommy needs to give me some money out of my bank account...
